Optical material parameters

The optical materials are characterized by the following parameters:
If there is no type of dispersion equation (optical constants n and k of the material can'not be described by a equation) then each material is described by indexes (n,k) at 40 wevelenghts. If the wevelenghts for which (n,k) is wanted, does not coincide with one of the 40 wevelenghts, then proceed to the linear interpolation. Generally, this case in met at metals. Where disptersion is greater, it is better for the number of points (lambda) specifying (n,k) should be more. Pay attention to the interpretation of the material data where k is dispersive and points are few.
