Short history of STRAT:

        1985 - first version in BASIC on WANG computers;

        1987 - FORTRAN 77 version on PDP 11 computer;

        1993 - C version on IBM PC computers.

bulletImproved the interface for the optical constants calculation functions and the stability of evaporation control functions..

bulletThe optical materials can include now (read from STICLE32.DAT) the chemical properties. When a material have poor chemical stability the symbol of the material, in EditMacro window, blink. The design solution and the evaporation process must be in agreement with this and with the requirement for the coating.
bulletEvery coating can memorize text (limited by Windows edit control: at least 64K) which can describe the coating, evaporation parameters, etc.
bulletFor the control of the evaporation process can be used the National Instruments data acquisition boards, reason for what must be installed the NI-DAQ™mx.

bulletThe materials have the parameter Tg - transform temperature for glasses and substrate temperature (for which we have the optical constants) for evaporation materials. If Tg evaporation material  > Tg substrate - 200 then the symbol of the material, in EditMacro window, blink.
bulletIt is introduced a new type of user defined target: { AOI[0,20,5], Rt[400,700,10] } - the sum of all values of total reflection   in spectral rangel [400, 700]nm, iteration of 10nm, for incidences angle in the range [0, 20] degre, iteration of 5 degre. Also are valid the simplified expresion {AOI[45], Rs[600]}. On this type of expresion we can apply the average operator: AVE({ AOI[0,20,5], Rt[400,700,10] })
