Short history of STRAT:
1985 - first version in BASIC on
WANG computers;
1987 - FORTRAN 77 version on PDP
11 computer;
1993 - C version on IBM PC
computers.
13.08.2008
 | Improved the interface for the optical constants calculation functions
and the stability of evaporation control functions.. |
20.10.2008
 | The optical materials can include now (read from STICLE32.DAT) the
chemical properties. When a material have poor chemical stability the symbol
of the material, in EditMacro window, blink. The design solution and the
evaporation process must be in agreement with this and with the requirement
for the coating. |
 | Every coating can memorize text (limited by Windows edit control: at
least 64K) which can
describe the coating, evaporation parameters, etc. |
 | For the control of the evaporation process can be used the National
Instruments data acquisition boards, reason for what must be installed the
NI-DAQ™mx. |
20.10.2009
 | The materials have the parameter Tg - transform temperature for glasses
and substrate temperature (for which we have the optical constants) for
evaporation materials. If Tg evaporation material > Tg substrate - 200
then the symbol of the material, in EditMacro window, blink. Tg - 200
> T is not an absolut rule. The scope is to take attention. |
 | It is introduced a new type of user defined target: { AOI[0,20,5],
Rt[400,700,10] } - the sum of all values of total reflection in
spectral rangel [400, 700]nm, iteration of 10nm, for incidences angle in the
range [0, 20] degre, iteration of 5 degre. Also are valid the simplified
expresion {AOI[45], Rs[600]}. On this type of expresion we can apply the
average operator: AVE({ AOI[0,20,5], Rt[400,700,10] }) |
26.04.2010
 | Windows of type EditRAM can export the text in Excel worksheet (ex:
edit data for RTA grafic window). |
 | Some materials (evaporation or substrate) have some problems when are
used. These problems can be writed in an attention file (such as ZnS.atn).
When the material is used in EditMacro window and this file exist, |
in the right side of the material appear an exclamation sign which blink.
Whit the floating menu this file can be open.
15.04.2011
 | It is introduced a modified type of user defined target: { AOI[0,20,5],
X[400,700,10] = X0 }. X can be an elementary target or another used defined
target already included in optimization (for ex. Rs-Rp). |
X0 is the desired value for X. If X0 is present is computed the sum of
(X - X0)^2.
 | Can be used targets that are in relation of > or < with optimized
quantity. In this case must be used penalty function. The targets can have
tree states: computed and included in merit function, computed but not
included in merit function but included in other user-defined targets, and
suspended. |
 | Function for the management of high vacuum systems which assure a very
good traceability of coated optical components. |
 | R, T
graphic window can have derived windows in which we can analyze other
spectral range (ex. visible and infrared: spectral ranges which are
separated by broad spectral ranges without requirements
). |
15.03.2012
 | Can be calculated the spectral response of coating when the spectral
bandwidth of measuring instrument (spectrophotomer) is finite. The profile
of spectral bandwidth is described in an ASCII file, registered in data base
and then selected and used. All graphic windows affected by this seting have
an blinking field. |
24.11.2012
 | It is introduced a new type of user defined target RMS(). It is used to
reduce the dispersion of the primitive optimized target in a defined
spectral range. It is used together with average target and integration
merit function type (when we don't know the value for the target, we search
for the best). Ex. {AOI[25],RMS(Rs[400,700,10])}. |
